Every Monday afternoon I hop on a Mastermind call and have the pleasure and support of 5 other lovely biz lady besties.
We offer each other advice, best practices and a few (loving) kicks to the pants.
But sometimes we can spiral into a brainstorm of epic proportions, and then get lost before we even have an action to takeaway.
And that’s exactly the problem I want to solve for you today.
When you find yourself going down the “what if” rabbit hole in your business, for what might or might not work, attract or convert your clients, there’s two simple things you can do:
When you find yourself spiraling down into ideas and assumptions, there’s only two actions you can take:
1. Ask.
2. Try.
If you have already worked with a few ideal clients, ask them to choose between your ideas or ask them what they hope to learn from you.
You can also ask around on social media or make a super simple survey for your email list.
But if you have absolutely no one to ask (or if you don’t get a response) then YOU have to make the choice.
As my one of my business mentors Jenny Shih recommends, approach your business like a scientist.
Sometimes the only way to really know if something works or not is to try it.
If you’re torn between several ideas, take a deep breath and listen to your intuition. Your gut. Your sixth-entrepreneurial sense.
And then go for it!
Just think of it as an experiment to see what works. And its equally valuable to know for the future what doesn’t work!
So, if you’ve been stuck around a certain idea for awhile, past it below and use the ASK approach. I’d be happy to give you my intuitive hit!
Or, if you’re ready to get out of the idea phase and into action, leave a comment and let me know what you’ll be TRYING. I’d be happy to help hold you accountable.
