To Sum It Up:
I had an amazing time at Jeff Walker’s LaunchCon event this past weekend in Dallas, Tx. And there were some major a-ha moments I had to share with you.
1. Go Live As Much As Possible
I’ve heard this a lot lately, and at a few other conferences as well, but as technology continues to develop you have to take advantage and go live as much as possible!
And especially when you’re launching.
2. Customize Their Experience
Ryan Levesque of Ask fame was a speaker, and he talked about how you can use the methods in his book alongside your launch.
When your leads opt in for your webinar, challenge or video series, simply ask them a quick follow up question about where they are in business, or what their goal is, so that you can create 3-4 buckets.
And then for each of those buckets you run the same launch, but with three distinctions:
– The intro to your launch addresses their “bucket”
– Customize their bonuses
– Use the testimonials that match their goal
In today’s world of customizing our media preferences, burritos and shopping experience – this one addition can double your results!
3. Plant Your Own (Ad) Trees
Have you ever wondered why the longer you run a Facebook ad, the more expensive the leads get? It’s because Facebook targets the easier conversions first, and then the harder ones.
But one speaker suggested that by “planting your own trees” you can make all of your leads low hanging fruit!
And he did this by running retargeting campaigns to people who watched 95% of his videos, and saw amazing results.
4. Evergreen Doesn’t Mean It’s Always Available
Before this talk from Sebastien Night, I was always pretty against evergreen funnels. But he totally changed my thinking around them!
He said, “Evergreen doesn’t mean it’s always available.” So he makes a special offer right when people join his list, and then they can’t purchase it after (even at full price!) until he launches or opens it again live.
And this is so different than what I had seen people doing before, that I think it just might work. 🙂
5. Focus On Your Mechanism
This one may or may not apply to you depending on your audience, but if your audience is mature (meaning they’ve purchased other programs, have been working on their big goal for 2-3 years), then you can’t just focus on the big benefit.
You also have to focus on the HOW.
If this is the 15th time they are trying to lose 10 pounds, that course promise isn’t enough to move the needle! They want to know how your program is different than everything they’ve tried before.
What’s your unique system?
The more you can dive into that, the better results you’ll see!

Going live and customizing the experience are my two favorite points and ones that I need to work on. So glad that you enjoyed what sounds like an amazing event!! 🙂
